To understand digital marketing we break the term Digital marketing in two pieces digital and marketing. Friends when we hear Digital what comes in our mind ? i think all the digital gadgets like tablets, mobiles, PCs & internet etc will come in our mind. Friends, you all know about the binary no.s, the different combinations or sets of these binary no.s makes rules and combination of rules makes algorithm and combination of algorithm makes software and different software's work on human interacted machines like computers. The combination of these phenomena called digital. Now what is marketing ? every single one of you will aware of the term marketing. By using particular techniques (promotion & advertisement) to target the public or audience. As digital platforms are increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life,and as people use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops,digital marketing campaigns are becoming more prevalent and efficient.
Digital marketing is set of techniques that helps you to do marketing online. there are five fundamentals of digital marketing.1. visibility i.e. creating audience 2. Traffic by different web portals 3.Engage: educate people by using good quality content. 4. Lead & conversion generation (by user interference) 5. Google Analytics / Survey Data. Some basic things in digital marketing are SEO (search engine optimization), SMO( search media optimization), SMA (social media advertisement), SEM( search engine marketing), Google analytics and Strategies.
